Bottle Cap Squasher / Nut Cracker

I needed something to flatten bottle tops for leatherwork projects. So, I made this, thinking it would flatten out the bottle caps. It turns out that the mettle of bottle caps is a bit stronger than I thought.

I suppose it might work for cracking nuts though.
