Print instructions

a MOCKUP only

This is a MOCKUP, i.e. a simplified model of a real product - an aluminium heatsink for a Raspberry Pi 4 model B computer. The mockup use is only to demonstrate the real dimensions and aesthetic. You need to also print CooliPi 4B CASE, which you can ten later use with the real heatsink, sold at www.sensoreq.com

If you have Prusa i3 MK3/S, 0.4mm nozzle diameter, you can use the gcode directly. Print material PETG.

You may use the 3mf project and change any other print parameters, including material. Because it's an evaluation model (no real heatsink), you can print with PLA to save earth. Fine tune the scale factor for different materials than PETG.

Try to print with a black, blue or gray colour. These are the real colours of our heatsinks. See attached photo how it looks like in reality.

The part is increased by 0.3% in slicer because of thermal contraction after cooling. Fine tune yours. If it prints a bit smaller, no problem. Nominal dimensions are 87x66x40mm. Must fit inside the CooliPi 4B CASE into a 87.4x66.4mm frame.

In other words, gcode has the 0.3% increase in it.
The 3mf project has the 0.3% increase set for this part.
Source STL files are in nominal dimensions.

Print orientation is visible on the pictures. No supports needes.

The model has some overhanging protrusions missing, to be printable. The real heatsink has elevated cooling islands that interface directly to the Raspberry Pi 4 model B chips.

This is to be used only with CooliPi 4B aluminium heatsink from www.sensoreq.com
