1-1/4" to 1-1/2" pipe cheeseborough clamp

A open-clasp design cheeseborough clamp for hanging lightfixtures and other items onto 1-1/4"-1-1/2" NPT pipe. Use at your own risk.

Instructions

Assembly:

• Use a 1/4"-20 barrel nut and 2-1/2" to 3"x1/4"bolt for the closing lock, print a knob (not included yet) and assemble.
• Print top and bottom halves, assemble using a 2"x3/8" bolt with nylock nut for the hinge.
• Press fit 1/4" bolt, or nut depending on your preferences into the bottom half for mounting fixtures, etc.

Notes:

• At 40% infill with ABS this seems to support 20-30lb of tension minimum (the most I could exert by pulling on it with a luggage scale in-line). Further testing to be performed
• Recommend use of a washer in between the knob and the top clamp.
