Remixed from 5015 FAN MOUNT FOR ENDER 3: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3836859
The original part was a great design that I modified to fit my needs and improve performance of the duct. The modifications I made were extending the duct down a couple millimeters, widening the duct openings at the end, angled the duct opening, and changed the fan mounting screw holes to use M3 bolts and nuts.
I have this mounted to an Ender 2 pro that I have pieced together with the stock Ender 3 carriage and fan housing, and all appears to be good. I'm unsure if this will work with an Ender 3, but I imagine it would given that it all bolts onto the stock housing.
I recommend printing in ABS as PLA could warp given the proximity to hot parts of the hotend.
There are 3 models.
Short - The original model shortened by 5mm
Medium - The original model shortened by 2.5mm
Original - The original model. It's longer than the part that I had remixed for my original needs with my modified hotend.
