I have recently been using Octoprint along with webcams on two of my printers but became dissatisfied with the traditions methods of holding the camera - Duck tape, Elastic bands and cardboard boxes. Also, it would be nice to be able to move the camera out of the way to take prints off or do necessary maintenance - and then put the camera back where it was.

In use the camera and arm are held in place by a pair of magnets but can be moved out of the way or even be latched right out of the way by another pair of magnets.

As the STL files are based on specific webcams (Logitech Pro 9000 and Logitech C270) and printers (Prusa 1 and Rostock), this is presented more as something to build your own design on.

Unprinted parts needed:

M8 by 65mm part threaded bolt, (13mm hex head) 2 off

M8 Nut, (13mm hex) 2 off

Magnet, 10mm dia by 2mm thick, 4 off

8mm dia ground steel shaft, length as needed.

M5 by 20mm hex head screw (8mm a/f) for C270 camera holder.

M5 nut (8mm a/f) for C270 camera holder.

Brass push-in inserts, 2 needed for magnet clamp, 4 needed for Prusa1 Fitting.
