This is a set of modular dividers to suit the Tool Box Parametric Mini.
The dividers created by Ross King for the full sized tool box were the inspiration for this, but rather than a remix, these have been created from scratch to suit the resized Mini design. All parts are equal height, shell width and come in logical sizes (eg. quarter, half, three quarter or full lengths).
Keep in mind that the toolbox is not square, so neither are the dividers. As such, divider parts cannot be rotated 90 degrees in the box as they won't fit. However, I've created the equivalent standalone parts so you should be able to find the part you need.
The naming convention that I've used to help you choose the parts to print for your box is as follows:
x_y_location; where
x = the width of the divider on the x-axis as a ratio of the box width
y= the length of the divider on the y-axis as a ratio of the box length
location = L&R (left or right) LU (left upper), LL(left lower), RU (right upper) RL (right lower), MX (middle on x-axis), MY (middle on y-axis), C (center).
Notes:
In the sample photo below, I've used:
In another example below, I've used:
0.5_0.5_LU_RL
0.25_0.5_LL_RU
0.25_0.5_M
0.25_1_M
0.25_0.75_LL_RU
0.25_0.25_RL_LU
Print settings I've used:
Material: PETG
Layer height: 0.2mm
Infill: N/A (when set to the default 2 layer shell width with 0.4mm nozzle, no infill space exists)
Supports: None
In theory, all parts can be scaled up by 117.5% in Prusa Slicer and they should work in the full sized Tool Box Parametric which is printable on a Mk.3, but I only have a Mini so I can't test this. If anyone tries these on a Mk.3, please let me know if it's successful.
Let me know if you spot any errors in the file name descriptions.
If you have any specific or custom sizes that you'd like, just leave a message with the details and I'll create and upload them. Keep in mind that custom sizes might not be compatible with the standard parts if they don't adhere to the quarter/half/three quarter/full length rule that I've used, so I'll tag any parts as “custom” in their titles as a note to others.
