These two prints allow for the smart filament sensor to be mounted to the top cross piece of an Ender 3 printer and raise the spool holder so it does not interfere with the sensor. This was designed for use with a direct drive modified Ender 3 and requires one M5 x 16mm, two M5 x 45mm screws, two M5 t-nuts, and one M5 nut to mount the parts. In addition you will need a length of PTFE tube to run from the smart sensor to the extruder in order to ensure that there is always a known length of filament between the sensor and the extruder.
See my installation guide for a Creality Ender 3 on my blog RaveRobot.com
I've added additional height top spool mounts that are 55, 60, and 65mm taller and requires a 60, 65, or 7mm bolt instead of 45mm for those who want the spool holder a bit higher.

PLA will work fine for both parts though the spool holder bracket will require higher infill and an additional wall to ensure it will not warp under the weight of the spool.
