Mixed up these little brackets for hanging a 2x2 sheet of plywood on the wall. They really take the anguish out of hanging.
Locate your studs (or install anchors), put as many anchors as you choose (plumb and level for multiples), mirror that x-y layout on the back of your hanging part where the screw will sit (in the top of the slot), mount the hangers and you're good to go.
No more searching around for the screw on the wall. The chamfered and angled screw slot is super easy to hit (as long as your layout is good!) and once it drops down into the top of the slot it's locked on to the wall solid.
I set it up for #4 wood screws between the bracket and the part and #6 wood screws on the wall.
