Make a usefull thing out of your old or favorite book, without destroying the book.

Create on the fly a second level table for storage, temporary or for longer, or use it as a decorative furniture. Its all depends on the book you use. It is e.g. usefull within a holiday flat where the kitchen table area is limited. The parts are small and the book is most likely available at the holiday flat already. It is surprisingly stable, a greater load on the book will hold the flap better between the sides.

The basic part is the book to table leg adapter. To extent the leg I have used a wooden rod. It is also possible to easily modifiy the design to have the leg already on the adapter (especially for small books).

The provided STL design is for a standard 16 mm rod. If you need other diamentions you could either scale it in Slicer (100 * neededDiameter / 16.2) or use the provided design file (Designspark V5). It is easy to adapt the design to other creative BookTable ideas.

This model is easy to print. Placed on its side, no support is needed. PETG or equivalent is recommended. As the upper flap is relativily thin PLA may be breaking.
