NOTICE: This was designed to be the thinest adapter cover that will still allow for a USB connection using adapters. This is not a part for the faint of heart. It does require some effort to get the SD Adapter to line up. Folding ribbon cable etc. If you give up on things quickly, dont even bother with this print.

This is for the MicroSD to MicroSD extension (Micro SD to Micro SD Card Extension Cable Adapter Flexible Extender found on Amazon( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WWVBK8V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and elsewhere. Remix removed text from face of the cover and worked on fitment/contour to match Ender 3v2.

  1. (MicroSD Cover with Angle - Full Panel.stl)

Added a nice angle to allow for easy removal. (This one is my favorite). I added some extra support inside at the corners (had one crack while pushing it over the USB cable). 2. (MicroSD Extension Cover v2.1.stl)

Changed contour to match closely with printer edges (Photo Attached). Worked on left and top edge to better fit the contour of the Ender 3v2. 2.1 is much better than previous versions.

Fitting Micro SD to Micro SD: Its a tight fit! I printed at .16 and still had to force the extender into the cutout. Then folded the ribbon cable in multiple ways to have the card insert lined up properly.

Note: I found a 90° Degree usb cable extension that fits (link below), but had to trim some of the plastic off the back USB cable connector. I could make this model/print deeper, but rather keep it slim to the frame of printer. If you find the right side is not flush, use a little double sided tape. Maybe I will have to make it a bit deeper to fit USB cables.

Notes:

Printed upright as shown in photo using supports (the resulting face of this print is buttery smooth). Used the OEM "putty knife" to break away supports inside holder. "Cut" around the edge and supports can easily be pushed out from the MicroSD slot. Just take your time not to scratch the face... YOU CAN DO IT!
