Description
You need two Pet Bottles in different sizes (2l + 1l or 1l + 0,5l for the small version) and ca. 30cm of a wool thread.
The container will be constructed by inserting the respectively smaller bottle inside of the larger. (e.g. 1l inside the 2l or 0.5l inside 1l)
The outer shell can be filled with water and the herbs will be planted inside the inner shell. A wool thread sucks water into the inner shell.
The floater will indicate when you have to refill water.
Instructions
- cut the bottles roughly in half (as depicted in Foto_02.jpg), you only need the bottom part
- drill a small hole into the bottom of the smaller bottle
- insert the thread, make sure about half the length is on either side of the hole
- snap holder into lid
- snap indicator into floater
- attach lid to smaller bottle half
- place indicator into holder (together with the clipped on floater)
- put everything into the larger bottle and attach lid
- plant herbs in the smaller bottle (make sure the thread reaches into the soil)
- for stability place herb container into the printed bottom 3d part
- fill water through the opening (into the outer shell)
