Icarus 2 - PCB Cover
Description
PDFThis is an optional PCB Cover for Icarus 2. It fits the older (short) PCB only that sits in most printers. Some newer printers have a longer (wide) PCB with an extra JST-XH connector, it is not compatible.
The cover is of course completely optional and mostly for those who want a cleaner looking printer or want some extra protection for the connectors and cables.
The cover can be turned 90 degrees on its side for access to the cables/connectors.
Variants
There is one model with Icarus written on top of the cover and one with the text on the front as shown below.
Step file
A step file is available if you want to edit or personalize your cover.
Print settings
Print it in the direction I have set it. For the version with the text on the front, add some supports under the screw hole channel. The version with the text on top doesn't need any supports.
I printed mine in Prusament PC Blend (Orange).
