This design is useful for mounting a servo which actuates a control surface via two wires which need to be properly tensioned. The outside mount to a flat deck inside the airplane (or other rc craft), the servo goes into the middle inside the carriage and is held in tension by a M5 screw. Please note that you should use a correct nut for the tension screw to not shake loose too easily.

I personally haven't used this, but I designed it for a friend who wanted it and he found it great as far as I'm told, hope he is not just being polite.

The rail and carriage are printed in place, this removes the need to have one of the sides open, which would reduce stiffness, please don't print them separately! In my prepared .3mf and .gcode I also added some more shells to the carriage to help improve stiffness and durability.

Update: Added the Textur version of the rail (also included in the Textur .3mf) which adds a small fillet at the bottom to increase the distance on the first few layers, since it did get stuck together when printing on textured sheet instead of smooth like before.
