This part is to mount the Neje 40640 in the base of a DW611 router. I have the DW611 router and base installed on my V1 Low Rider (version one). This lets me take the router out, put the laser diode in, and then just add wiring. It also still fits [dkj4linux's hose/nozzle](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5073015) air assist.

There is a “lite” version which is a bit tighter, but seemed to hold the laser rigid enough for testing.

Both mounts are elliptical and based on a roughly 69mm diameter router base. The elliptical shape gives it just a bit more tolerance for bad dimensions. The lite version is a little larger (by 0.6mm, IIRC) because the smaller height means it will not grab as well. If you use the lite as a test and it is a bit snug, the bigger one may be a tad looser (but more rigid overall).

There are 6 holes that are sized for directly screwing in M3 screws, but there isn't room for the screw heads. My laser and printer have made a very snug fit, but if yours is loose, then you might be able to hold it rigidly using some M3 set screws (the little grub screws everyone hates).

The top lip is meant to just have a repeatable vertical position, but it also has M3 (clearance, so you'll need a nut) holes to mount a 60mm fan, if you wanted to.

Heavy inspiration from Robery Bunney's MPCNC mount from a 68mm router base, but drawn from scratch (without dimensions).
