Flat Pack Christmas Ornament 2020

A Christmas tree ornament that prints in 3 flat pieces for ease of printing and shipping.

With 2020 being a remote holiday year, I wanted something that I could send out to my family where they are that would be small and easy to ship!

Designed with a hole in the top for your holiday decoration hanging needs.

The design has several parameters to help you simply size various elements including overall size, the thickness of each plane, the angle of stars, and the height of debossed text.

Post-Printing

Coloring the Text

I used a black sharpie on the raised text elements. I played with a few different colors but they didn't read as well, so I settled on black. I used more of a dabbing motion with a fairly blunted tip.

But, a little isopropyl on a q tip quickly rubbed away the sharpie from any accidents.
