Compact Printing Tools Organizer

A versatile and compact printing tools organizer that's printable on the Prusa MINI (180mm wide). I designed it to fit as many things in as little space as possible, while keeping all tools accessible and upright.

• Slanted top makes it easier to reach into the front compartments.
• Progressively larger compartments work well for various tools while staying general-purpose.
• The bottom tray is a perfect place to put spare parts and maintenance accessories.
• Small subdivisions at the rear can be used to store small, flat things upright: allen keys, scraper, caliper, ruler, etc.
• An optional spacer for the large rear slots keeps shorter items from going in too deep.
• Not too filament hungry!

Printing Instructions

• If printing using a MINI, disable the skirt so that the models fit on the build plate
• Print the tray and compartments laying down (natural direction)
• Print the drawer upright (open side up)

Notes

It doesn't bother me too much, but I think the finish might have been better on mine if the walls were thicker (I made them slim to use less filament and to get more storage space), in which case I think there would have been fewer unwanted artifacts. If you have some insight on the actual cause I'd love to know about it!

The rear spacer hole goes up, which enables you to take it out easily using a hook & pick or similar tool, without requiring you to empty the whole organizer to flip it upside down!

A somewhat parametric Fusion 360 source file is included, so you can customize it to your liking.
