These are my offering for upgrading the classic Revell 1:2700 scale Star Destroyer. I've used some artistic license in places - adding in detail where there wasn't too much on offer. These were done for a Resin printer - mine is Anycubic Photon...and they turned out ok.
Main hangar bay is an improvement on the general ANH hangar - but deeper, with recesses for lighting. The loading ports are separate and have holes for fibre optics/LEDs. (Watch the vertical clearance when installing it - not too much room between top and bottom plates of the main hull.) To cover any minor sizing issues, I've made a couple of flanges to provide the outer rim of the hangar bay, and make up for any damage when removing the molded bay.
Ahead of this is the small hangar bay - really quite simple, with holes for fibre/lights - but makes a nice difference to the flat offering on the original.
I've created a the garbage chute with Slave I and other junk. Holes for an LED...again, tight fit in the tower.
Lateral hangars...these need the roof chamfering off, to fit in with the top hull... so, don't worry about the lid.
The Shield Generator I adapted to get better print quality - as some of the finer supports tended to part 80% ok, and then a few didn't work ok... but that could have been me.
I also threw together a few replacement turrets to replace the molded ones... take 'em or leave 'em.
Lastly (probably the only bit that is still WIP) - the engine bell and vane (which came out a bit thick) - I know I need to do a bit of sanding to get the socket to fit right...but they are better than the originals. The bells are a little more angular than I would like - and I'll try to smooth these out by recreating with more faces. The vane might be better with the rim used and spare etch metal used, but I haven't attached these yet.
