Gorillapod slip-on magnetic shoe

Print three of these, add a 9.55mm-diameter neodymium magnet into the cavity inside of each, slip them on your gorillapod tripod, and you'll be able to attach your rig to metal rails and rigs — even upside-down.

My file has a very thin layer over the magnets — it tore off cleanly when I was attaching them (post-print); I like it better without them and may redesign it to have the magnets always be fully exposed.

You may want to try to pause your printer and embed your magnet inside the print; if so, glue it in place so it doesn't pop itself out and stick to the hot end.
